IN IDAHO

Tonight we are in Post Falls....right on the boarder between Washington State and Idaho
The location of the hotel is fantastic right on the bank of the  large Spokane river, it's a tourist holiday destination, water sports in summer, snow sports in winter.Currently though the day time temps are around 32/35 degrees, dry and hot.
Todays started at Spokane only about 50 miles from here but it took us about 200miles to get here, we drove all through lakes and river country, the towns were all small and not to inspiring but we did enjoy the drive
Tonight we feasted on  Greek/ Turkish food in town, and managed a glass of wine, also noted they had one Oz wine on the list    ....a Rosemount Red,
We need to rest up tonight Sandie has another big day planned for us tomorrow.

  1. Idaho must be fabulous! I think it was where they filmed "The Bridges of Madison County", and River Phoenix, "A River Somewhere"? Get some photos of the woods, like Sequoia redwoods. I believe they are the tallest on the planet there.

Cool and now wet in Gawler/SA today. Tomorrow is Ouyen, our last night on the road, then home. I am knackered and unwell at the moment. Should make a good recovery by eating less and sleeping more and more!! xxGaryh
