Here we are DAY 2 in Beautiful Salt Lake City home and heart of the Mormon Faith ( Church of Christ of latter-day saints)) and I've seen the light.
Sandie has had me back to the Temple site twice, We have checked family trees ( really amazing set up) been to the Tabernacle for an organ recital, And a lively discussion with two young Evangelists....I'm mis guided, they are right....I'm a sinner
No more drinking, no more swearing or cussing, no more Nudity, its clothes on from now on
If you believe all that you don't know me......Sandie is another kettle of fish, I've been married to her for 30 years and still can't work her out, but its good fun trying...she's no Mormon though
All jokes aside ...It's a Beautiful medium size town that we managed to negotiate in the car.
Its was founded in 1850's has substantial public and private building, wide streets in a grid , free public transport downtown and worthy of the two night stay.Lots of bars and restaurants,and a host of accommodation choices.The city center is surrounded by mountains...the big attraction is snow sports in winter. Salt Lake City hosted the winter Olympics...early 2000's
We have found Red Lion Hotels to very reasonable in price, offer a good buffet breakfast and always in a handy location to all attractions...this one is no exception.
Off tomorrow...Sandie has it all in hand.... Steamboat Springs, you read right.
