It was a very long drive from SLC to Steamboat.We are at about 7000 feet and its now wet and cool.
The drive look us across wide and undulating mountain plains,with virtually no trees until we arrived here.
There were lots of large rocky out crops reminiscent of the country around Mt Isa
This is a real tourist town high prices for food and accommodation as well as high class clothing shops.
We have to move on and see the NP which we have heard vivals Glacier NP.
Time for breakfast.
